Why did you choose this school? “I chose UMBC because I loved the ambiance of the university. Also, I immediately felt at home when I met the coaching staff and the current players there.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “We just came off of winning a County Championship, and are looking to go further this year and take home a District Championship. Our team consist of a lot of very strong players in every position, so we will have a lot to work with.”

People to thank: “First and foremost, I would like to thank my parents for putting in all their time and effort to help me succeed in the game of lacrosse, and always being there to motivate me. Along with my brother Julian, for introducing me to the game and always being around to pass and shoot with.

“Secondly, I would like to thank my club coach (Mark Pinkerton) for helping me grow as a player and person on and off the field. Also, my school coaches (John Spleen) and (Pat Howard) for giving me the opportunity to play all of last season against older and greater talent.

“Lastly, I would like to thank the UMBC coaches (Alex Mundy, Morgan Stephens, and Amy Slade) for giving me the opportunity to play lacrosse at a growing Division 1 program, and making the recruitment process very easy for me.”
