Manheim Township 2018 attack Lizzie McBride has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.

Why did you choose this school? “I was very attracted to both the athletics and academics at St. Joe’s. The coaches are young and visionary and the campus is beautiful and close to home! The reputation of St. Joe’s is outstanding.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “We are looking forward to another great season, shooting for another district championship and a run in states! We have a huge class of seniors who will lead us this year!”

People to thank: “I would first like to thank my high school coach Mark Pinkerton for getting me to where I am today. Also I would like to thank my Dad and Tom Newell for teaching me the game of lacrosse. I would also like to thank my parents, Xtreme and Township teammates, and family for the endless support. Finally I would like to thank my sister Emily for getting me to where I am today and for always pushing me to be my best!”
