Why did you choose this school? “Princeton has always been my dream school. I wanted to go to a great school where I would get a fantastic education as well as be able to play college lacrosse at the highest level. After my visits to Princeton, I knew that it was the right fit for me. Coach (Chris) Sailer and Coaches (Jenn) Cook and (Anne) Murray are amazing and the players on the team were so welcoming. The lacrosse team is one big family and I loved it! And the campus is to die for. I honestly never could imagine myself anywhere else.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “After a very successful 23-1 season last year, we have loaded up our schedule with tough competitors for the 2016 season. It will definitely be an exciting and challenging year! Our goal is to work hard and play together and to end the season as one of the top high school lax teams. I look forward to taking on a leadership role as a captain again this season. The younger girls have really stepped it up this year and I can’t wait to see them perform out on the field. It is a bittersweet year because on one hand I am so excited for the season to start, but on the other, it will be my last one at Agnes Irwin with Coach Duck, my teammates and my sisters – I will miss them all so much!”

People to thank: “I would like to thank my parents and sisters for all their unconditional love and support. Thank you for sticking by my side through it all. You helped me overcome my injury and showed me how to be resilient and to persevere in the face of adversity. Thank you to Coach Duck for being such a great mentor and for teaching me so much about lacrosse. You have helped to shape me into the player I am today! Thank you to Coaches Yusko and Frazier at Phantastix for being there since the beginning. Last and absolutely not least, a huge thank you to my teammates at Agnes Irwin and Phantastix for always being there for me no matter what!”

Other schools considered: Stanford, UVA, North Carolina, Harvard, Syracuse, Johns Hopkins
