D’Ortone named head boys’ lacrosse coach at Lower Merion; Decina gets job at Haverford High

Former Upper Darby and Neumann University coach Roland D’Ortone was named head boys’ lacrosse coach Monday at Lower Merion.

D’Ortone served as head coach at Neumann from 2010-2012 and then was a volunteer assistant there for several years. Before going to Neumann, D’Ortone was the offensive coordinator at Ursinus College.

D’Ortone was head coach at Upper Darby from 1993-2004.

Decina named head coach at Haverford High

Greg Decina has been named head coach at Hsaverford High, after serving the past few years as an assistant.

Decina, a 2007 Haverford grad, also is an assistant football coach and social studies teacher at Haverford High. He played club lacrosse at Penn State and graduated in 2012.
