“I am very excited to chosen for this committee, especially during this time of growth and change for our sport,” said Pollock. “The game is growing at such a tremendous pace all over the country, and I am honored to be a part of helping the sport of women’s lacrosse grow.”

The NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Rules Committee, which consists of members from NCAA Divisions I, II and III, continually reviews all playing rules, and recommends changes that aim to improve both game play and player safety.

Pollock completed her first season in Glenside in 2016, which saw a pair of all-conference selections in recent graduate Dawn Faranetta and rising senior Erin Misner, while fellow rising senior Sarah Obuchowski was recently named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. A talented 13-member recruiting class will look to immediately improve the Knights as they seek their fourth postseason appearance in five years.
