Boyertown’s 11-year reign atop PAC-10 girls lacrosse moved closer to an end Friday when unbeaten Owen J. Roberts rode a fast start and the combined 13 goals of Maddie Gebert and Kerry Huzzard to an 18-10 triumph over the Bears.
The Wildcats (10-0, 14-0) seized control with an 11-3 edge in the opening half and were never seriously challenged by the Bears (6-4, 7-6), who will need to win out and get plenty of help to qualify for the Final Four and a chance to defend their 11-year stranglehold on tyhe title.
Hailey Heimbach finished with three goals and two assists while Hannah Jaskuta collected three goals and one helper for Boyertown.
Spring-Ford 8 Perkiomen Valley 5
Camryn Jones recorded a hat trick as the Rams raised their PAC-10 slate to 8-2 (11-4 overall). For the Vikings (4-7, 6-8), Harley Barrett collected nine saves and Laura Dunne scored two goals.
Episcopal Academy 16, Baldwin School 8
Jane Crager led EA (13-2, 6-1) with four goals, an assist, five draw controls and two groundballs in the Inter-Ac League.
Ive Gonzalez had four goals for Baldwin.
Springside Chestnut Hill Academy 9, Notre Dame 8
Mikaela Watson scored three goals and had the game-winner as the Devils snapped Notre Dame’s seven-game win streak and rallied for a stunning Inter-Ac victory.
SCHA is 3-3 in the league and 4-7 overall while the Irish – which got four goals from Carolyn Riegel – fell to 4-2 and 7-2.

Sydney Bachman scored three goals for the Bears in the Suburban One American victory.
Kirsten Monte scored twice for the Colonials.
Wissahickon 13, Upper Dublin 3
Carolyn Wilde notched four goals while Marye Dickson and Shannon Stagliano each had three for the Trojans.
Julie Cross and Hannah Reape each had a goal and an assist for the Cards.
