Kerry Huzzard scored four goals and added an assist while Maddie Gebert had three goals and an assist and Maggie Stone scored three goals for the Wildcats, who improved to 4-0.

Tornetta is 400-101-14 overall in 25 years as a coach, the first 24 at Great Valley. He also is 826-340-32 overall in all sports; he has coached Great Valley wrestling and field hockey.

“This is just a credit to all the kids that I have had the pleasure of coaching over all these years,” said Tornetta. “I have had a lot of great kids and a lot of great relationships in both schools.

“The Owen J kids have been fantastic and obviously the Great Valley kids through the years were fantastic so this is just as much theirs as anybody’s. I have had so many of my former players come back to coach at Great Valley and even here with me at Owen J. Roberts, so they have had a piece of this achievement in so many different ways.”
