Maddie Gebert pumped in nine goals and added one assist as Owen J. Roberts handed Boyertown its second straight PAC-10 loss, 19-10, in a Liberty Division girls’ lacrosse game Wednesday night.Steps-Philly-copy12

The Bears, who had seen their 152-game league winning streak snapped in a 7-6 overtime loss to Methacton Tuesday, are now 0-2 in the league and overall to start the year.

Leading 8-6 at the break, the Wildcats (2-0 league, 2-0 overall) used a 7-2 run at the start of the second half to go up 15-8. Kerry huzzard added five goals and Sara Maute posted 12 saves for the Wildcats.

For the Bears, Karli Gilbert and Sydney Fox posted three goals each while Hannah Wentzel added one goal and three assists.

Upper Dublin 11, Central Bucks East 10

Julie Cross had six goals and Elizabeth Barber added a pair as the Cardinals rallied from a 7-5 halftime deficit.

Katelyn Stout led the Patriots with three goals and Kaitlyn Mikalic added goals

Jenkintown 16, Academy of the New Church 8

Sarah Dillon paced the Drakes with six goals, one assist, five caused turnovers and four draw controls while Treise McCarthy scored five goals and Cassidy Robbins had 12 saves

ANC got three goals from Rachel Fink.

Archbishop Carroll 12, Downingtown West 6

Avery Murphy led the Patriots with six goals and six draw controls and Isabelle Schmitt had three goals in the non-league win.

Ryan McKinney had three goals for Downingtown West.

Gwynedd Mercy 13, Phoenixville 10

Ashley Stefanowicz poured in five goals and goalie Chelsea Bergman made 10 stops to lead Gwynedd to the non-league win.

Zoe Bullotta led the Phantoms with an eight-goal outburst.

Abington 21, Council Rock North 8

Jeannie van Buren had five goals, two assists and eight draw controls while Mikki Raymond contributed four goals, eight draws and four caused turnovers for the Ghosts.

North Penn 9, Hatboro-Horsham 8

Emily Schulze tallied five goals, including the game-winner for the Maidens, who had dropped their last five games to the Hatters.

Kaitlyn Wallace had four goals for Hatboro-Horsham.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 9, Central Bucks West 7

Ali Diamond scored three goals and Monica Dressing had two goals and two assists for the Colonials.

Jacq Fitzgerald led CBW with three goals.
