STEPS Philadelphia girls’ HS roundup: EA edges Garnet Valley in 2OT; Radnor tops Unionville

Corrine Zanolli scored three goals, including the game-winner, as host Episcopal Academy defeated Garnet Valley, 6-5, in double overtime Saturday in non-league girls’ lacrosse.Steps-Philly-copy1

Lily Crager had two goals for EA (8-2), which led, 4-2, at halftime, but was held to one goal in the second half. Sydney Gagnon had seven saves.

Garnet Valley (4-3) got two goals each from Kamryn McNeal and Madi O’Brien and 13 saves from Lauren Kinnee.

Radnor 17, Unionville 13

Lexy Kenneally had four goals and an assist and Emily Games added three goals and four assists while Hannah Proctor collected three goals, one assist and five draw controls to lead the Raiders to a victory over the Indians.

Quinn Benintende had four goals and an assist and Katie Garvey added four goals for Unionville, which suffered its first loss (5-1).

Methacton 10, Perkiomen Valley 8

Sara Hughes and Jackie Cerchio each fired in three goals to lead the Warriors.

Clearview (NJ) 9, Princeton (NJ) 8

Ali Donohue scored four goals to lead Clearview.

Gabby Gibbons and Taylor Lis each scored two goals for Princeton.

Ridley 16, Interboro 3 (Relentless Games)

Emily Johnston scored four goals and Nicole Lyman added three to lead the host Green Raiders to the win at the HEADstrong Relentless Games.

Sami Barnett led the Bucs with two goals

Cherry Hill East (NJ) 17, Mainland 8

Nicole Zaso led CHE with three goals and an assist.

Vanessa Pagliei led Mainland with four goals.

Owen J. Roberts 15, West Chester East 8

Maddie Gebert collected six goals and two assists and Kerry Huzzard had four goals and an assist for the Wildcats.

Shannon Moore and Holly Hager each had four goals for East.

Strath Haven 17, Cardinal O’Hara 1

Suzanna Penikis and Jen Rowan each had four goals for the Panthers.
