“On behalf of the HEADstrong Foundation and those affected by cancer we wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the all of the teams who will be participating in this year’s Rivalry Games. We would also like to convey our thanks to Avon Grove High School for embracing our mission and rallying the community to help us get ahead of cancer. We look forward to presenting this event every year. The energy and atmosphere brings us back to a time when our boy’s played at Ridley High School. The comradery, the competitiveness and the sportsmanship is something that truly makes hosting this event a privilege. This year we will be honoring both cancer patients and their families and throughout the day we will have several ambassadors of our mission onsite to share their inspirational stories. This event is just not a fundraiser; this is an event to assure these amazing people that they are not alone in their fight. We proudly take the field for those affected by cancer and we hope that you will consider joining us for a very inspirational day, filled with great lacrosse for the cause.” says Cheryl Colleluori, HF President and Nick’s Mom
