Lexi Woodruff scored five goals and Jordan Brown added three Saturday as Cape Henlopen toppled visiting Glenelg Country Day School (MD), 13-5.

Cape, the six-time defending state champion, is 2-0.delaware1

Concord 11, Newark 8

Four goals by Madaline Davis, and three each by Heather Estle and Madaline Marconi paced the Lady Raiders of Concord to a win over the Lady Yellowjackets. The Lady Jackets were led by Allison Delaney with four goals and two by Faith Howard.

Wilmington Friends 11, Middletown 10

Four goals by Brooke Winfield, three by Meryl Gatti and two by Margo Tschantz paced the Lady Quakers to a win over the Lady Cavaliers. For the Lady Cavs, Alexia Johnston led with four, Allison Pantazes contributed three and twin sister Emily recorded two.

Dover 15, Joppatowne 3

Four goals by Natalie Glascock, and three each by Ashley Manifold, Grace Cervon and Cydney Barnes paced the Lady Senators of to a win over Joppatowne of MD.

Boys (Saturday)

Conrad 6, Delcastle 5

Four goals by James Colligan paced Conrad to a win over the Cougars of Delcastle. For the Cougars, Warren Underwood led with four goals.

Appoquimini 13, Caravel 7

Six goals by Cross Ferrara, three by John Dunbar, and two by Zack Bowen paced the Jaguars of Appoquimink to a win over the Bucs of Caravel. Ryan McNery led Caravel with two goals.

Tower Hill 12, St. Andrews 6

Five goals by Michael Pettit, three by Connor Hattersley, and two by Douglas McCoy paced the Hillers to a win over the Cardinals of St. Andrews. The Cards were led by Spencer Peet with two goals.

Archmere 18, AI DuPont 0

Five goals each by Xavier Glavin and Robert Baxter and three each by Colin Duffy and Ben Revak paced the Auks to a shutout win over the Tigers.

Red Lion Christian 9, Christian 6

Two goals by Jordan Fisher and Michael Markakis paced the Lions of Red Lion Christian to a win over the Vikings. For the Vikings, Ernest Tolbert and Nyles Thompson each recorded three goals.
