Members of the Drexel Hill Raiders and Conshohocken Bulldogs youth lacrosse clubs are happy to announce the formation of the Philadelphia Area Boys Summer Lacrosse League.
The league was created to help continue the players’ lacrosse education and skill development following their spring season by offering an opportunity to those players who have no interest or the time and financial commitment play summer club lacrosse.
This league is open to all players who:
*Are entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade in the 2015 / 2016 school year.
*Are NOT participating on a summer club team for the 2015 summer.
*Have played at least 1 season playing on an organized team [Middle School or Township].
Each session will include 1 hour of skill development along with a 1 hour game. Each week we will focus on one skill topic to help improve the players’ individual skills and understanding of the game. These topics will include face offs and wing play, dodging and shooting, off ball movement, offensive sets, defensive schemes, etc.
Games will run on Wednesday nights (6:00-9) for 8 weeks starting on June 10th and lasting until July 29th. Sessions will be held in the easily accessible Conshohocken area, on turf fields, either at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School or AIM Academy. Locations for each date are posted online.
Registration fees are $75 thru Sun May 3rd; $85 thereafter. Multiple sibling discounts apply. For insurance purposes, you will be prompted during the registration process to provide your US Lacrosse membership number and/or become a member ($25).
Players will register as individuals and at this time we are limited to the first 80 players. All players will receive a reversible pinnie.
