The Passport Alliance is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its first event during the most competitive weekend for college lacrosse recruiting of the summer. The Alliance has laid the groundwork for one of the most competitive events of the summer recruiting window and certainly the most competitive event in the Philly market.

A highly selective and elite group of clubs from various hotbeds around the nation and Canada will assemble to compete in this inaugural event. According to the Tournament organizers, there has already been a large number of leading college lacrosse programs expected to be in attendance for this boutique recruiting event. Needless to say, the elite list below of clubs that are attending this event is clearly the reason.

“If you have been asked to attend this event, you have likely been screened and confirmed as a top club. I have been involved with lacrosse most of my life and have lived in the area for my entire life. The Philly area, in my opinion, has grown to be the strongest lacrosse market in the nation based on players that are coming out of this area and are now playing at the NCAA collegiate level. I am sure those in Maryland and Long Island may not agree with me but I can point to countless leading players today that represent the area as leaders today. Finally, our area now has a MARQUIS event right here that will demonstrate just how great we are against the premier teams from around the nation. Dukes is one of the strongest club teams in the nation and is looking forward to the high level of competition and high caliber of club teams who will be participating in this incredible Liberty Bell Challenge event.”

– Ebe Helm, Founder and President of the Dukes LC

“Our club is primarily S/E PA and Philly – Mainline players. We have participated in venues all over the country at the most competitive events. After 12 years of being on the club recruiting circuit, I can say that I have witnessed the talent levels from almost every hotbed region and every elite club. With that in mind, I can also say that the field of teams set to compete at this event at both the High School and Youth levels will be high-end showcase level competition. I would not be surprised to see a record turnout of college coaches.”

Greg Flego, Founder and President of Twist Lacrosse

The sponsors of this event are still seeking 1-2 additional clubs that are highly competitive in the HS and youth level to round out each bracket.
