Garrett Woods

Garrett Woods

High School: Shawnee High School, N.J.

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: LSM/Close Defense

College Choice: Stockton University

Club affiliation: SouthShore Lacrosse

Lacrosse Honors: Brine National Academy

Academic Honors: Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Biology

Why did you choose the school? “It had everything I was looking for in a college: A great lacrosse program and coach, its very competitive at the DIII level, a large number of students, a big open campus, and not too far from home. I took my time choosing and everything seems perfect about it.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “I think our season will definitely be a positive one. We have a good group of lacrosse players who have the will to win and won’t quit. No doubt we’ll be the team to beat!”

Thank You: “First and foremost, I’d like to thank my mom and dad for all the support they’ve given me over the years. I also owe it to all my coaches I’ve been lucky enough to have – (current) SouthShore coaches JC Valore and Adam Cummins, my Shawnee coach Erik Stilley and (past) even my rec coach Rob Bartholemew. I’d also like to thank Coach (Kevin) Zulauf (Stockton) for all he’s done!

Other schools considered: Roanoke College, Shenandoah University, Cabrini College
