Lambert High School (GA) 2017 midfielder Eric Overbay has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

Lacrosse Honors: Varsity starter Freshman and Sophomore year, Co-Captain for upcoming Junior year, Freshman year All-County, Sophomore year 1st team All-Area, 2014 Jake Reed Nike Blue Chip Camp, 2014 Hot Beds All-Star, 2014 IL Southern Showcase All-Tournament Team, 2015 NXT Boys Southern Showcase Fab 40 All-Star

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Nova? “It had everything I wanted in a school: great academics, awesome campus, northeast location, strong lacrosse tradition and a great coaching staff.”

Thoughts on your HS team’s season? “We had a great regular season run, but fell short in the playoffs. However, this coming year we are returning a bunch of starters so we should make a strong playoff run.”
