Unionville 2016 defender Olivia Zubillaga has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Longwood University.

What will you major in/study? Marketing

Why did you choose the school? “Longwood University offers strong academics, ideal size and location combined with the opportunity to play in a competitive program. After visiting the school and meeting the coaches and players, I knew that this was the school for me.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “Unionville has a strong Senior and Junior Class with a number of leaders. We have a new coach this year and I think we have the potential to have a very successful season.”

Other comments: “I’d like to thank my travel coaches for their strong commitment to our team and for motivating us to always play our hardest which has helped make me the player I am today. I’d also like to thank my parents for teaching me to never give up and for supporting me throughout my athletic career.”
