What will you major in/study: Undecided

Why did you choose school: Boston University has everything I was looking for in a college experience – a great academic school and lacrosse program with an amazing coach, all in the heart of one of the best college cities in the world – Boston. When I visited, the team and staff were so welcoming, and were really what made me fall in love with the school. It was then I knew it was the perfect place for me.

Outlook for the 2015 HS Season: “I feel like our team is poised to break through this year. We had some key wins and close losses last year, and we’ve only gotten better. We have some great new freshmen who will only add to our talent, and there is a lot of enthusiasm for winter leagues and workouts, which has helped us to work together as a team before the season even starts. We reached the Prep B semi-finals the last two years, and this year, our goal is to win the championship.
Thank you: First, I want to thank my parents for always doing everything possible for me to pursue my dream, and my brother Kevin who is always so supportive. I’d also like to thank my all of my coaches over the years, Tri-State coach, Christie Cooper, who has coached me since I was 10, Sue Montegari, Tri-State Club Director, for all her help with my recruiting process, and my high school coaches, Wendy Morris and Grace Megaffin, for continuing to push me to grow as a player and a leader.

“Next, I would like to thank my Turf Dog, Tri-State and Pennington teammates for being like sisters to me, and always supporting and encouraging me in every practice and game. Also, I would like to thank my Lower Bucks Lacrosse teammates and coaches for making lacrosse so much fun when I was young. Finally, I want to thank Coach Liz Robertshaw believing in me, and giving me this tremendous opportunity.”

Other colleges considered: Northwestern, Michigan, UConn, Colorado, James Madison
