Luke Stansfield scored three goals and Sean McKee posted eight saves as Penn Charter defeated the defending Missouri state champions, Mary Institute & St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS), 9-6, today at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School in Alexandria, VA.

They play Friday at St. Anne’s-Belfield in Virginia.

Episcopal Academy 12 Downingtown East 3

EA (3-0) got balanced scoring from Eric Haab (three goals), Chris Friedman (two goals, three assists), Curtis Zappala (two goals, two assists) and Connor Ringwalt (two goals, one assist), great face-off work by Christian Feliziani (15-19) and 12 saves from Colin Reder.

Marple Newtown 12, Harriton 8

Tyler Kostack had two goals and four assists and TJ Reiley added three goals while Steve Viola, Noah Turner, Vince Ciavardelli, and Eric McKelvey paced the defense to lead the Tigers to the Central League.

George Washington 20, DelVal Charter 0

Connor McMonagle collected five goals and seven assists and Adrian Toro had seven goals and three assists for GW.

Perkiomen Valley 9, Kennett 3

Ben Minardi had three goals and two assists and Shawn Coulteradded two goals and three assists while Kevin Mo posted 13 saves for PV.

Zach Longacre had 11 saves for Kennett.

Upper Dublin 19, Cheltenham 0

Mike Winebrake had seven goals and an assist, Mike Mullen had five goals and two assists and Michael Sowers collected a goal and eight assists as the Cardinals rolled.

Radnor 18, Upper Darby 2

Westy McLaughlin and Julian Castillija each scored four goals to pace the Raiders to the victory.

Springfield-Delco-Conestoga game halted at halftime

Visiting Springfield will take a 4-3 lead into halftime of a game halted by lightning. It will resume today at 4:45 p.m.

Lower Merion 13, Haverford High 12

Evan Wolf (three goals, three assists) scored the game winner with 58 seconds to play to lift the Aces.

Paddy Black added three goals and an assist and Dan Silbergeld made 11 saves.

Mark Elder Led Haverford with three goals and an assist and Luke McCallion scored three goals.

Henderson 9, Plymouth Whitemarsh 4

Cody Pascale scored three goals and eric Beren made eight saves for the Warriors.
