The Philadelphia Freedom 2016 team members closed out its club lacrosse careers in thrilling fashion as Jack Marshall scored with just 20 seconds left and Freedom knocked off No Excuses 5-4 to win the FLG in 3D Summer Shootout 2016 A Division title at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds. Team Freedom finished 5-1 for the weekend.

Freedom’s only loss of the weekend was a 9-7 defeat to Sweet Lax 2016, which won the AA championship.

In the 2018 AA bracket of the FLGin3D event, Philadelphia Freedom won a thrilling semi-final game against 3D Colorado Select, coached by 3D lacrosse founder, Jamie Munro. Freedom was down 7-3 in the second half and stormed back to win 9-7. Freedom lost in the championship game to 3D Tri-State in a hard fought finale. The team finished 5-1 on the weekend.
