The Haverford School lacrosse team – the No. 1 team in the Philly region and in the nation – is teaming with Mesa Fresh Fever to offer a free clinic on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on Sabol Field prior to the Fords’ non-league game with St. Joseph’s Prep.
The clinic is for boys in grades 1 through 8 and will be run by players and coaches from Haverford and Mesa Fresh Fever. The players are encouraged to stay and watch the game on Sabol field beginning at 2:30 pm.
In addition, the clinic will serve as an evaluation for open spots on the 3rd through 8th grade teams for Mesa Fever. Mesa Fever practices in June and July and the teams play in three local tournaments in June and July.
All participants need a helmet, stick and gloves.
