Emily Brodsky, who starred at Friends’ Central and recently graduated from Hamilton College, has been named an assistant coach for the Israel U19 national team that will compete for the first time in the World Cup this summer.
Baltimore native Hannah Deoul, who made Aliyah to Ashkelon in October, was named Israel’s first-ever U-19 head coach.
The 2015 FIL Rathbones Women’s U19 World Lacrosse Championships will be held July 23–August 1, 2015, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Brodsky, who scored 19 goals for Hamilton in 2014, is currently working as the event coordinator for the Israel Lacrosse Association and also helps to recruit and coach for the country’s youth team.
