Deb Peifer scored with 1:32 left in overtime off a feed from Sara Hughes to give visiting Methacton a stunning 7-6 win over Boyertown Tuesday, snapping the Bears’ incredible 152-game win streak in pioneer Athletic Conference games.
The 11-time defending champion Bears held a 6-5 lead before Sara Hughes (two goals, three assists) tied it with 31 seconds in regulation. It took only 1:32 for Peifer (two goals, one assist) to get the game-winner. Sam Rothman made 11 saves in goal for Methacton.
Kristi Gilbert and Sydney Fox each scored twice for the Bears.

Emily Johnson collected five goals and Hanna Crowley added four for the Green Raiders.
Harriton 17, Penncrest 1
Jane Henderson had five goals and three draw controls while Alex Ladda collected three goals, two assists and two draw controls for the Rams.
Conestoga 15, Lower Merion 2
Monica Borzillo had three goal and two assists and Sondra Dickey added three goals and one assists for the Pioneers.
Springfield-Delco 10, Strath Haven 6
Emily Santana had five goals and two assists for the Cougars.
Katie Sherry, Jen Rowan and Nicole McNeely had two goals apiece for the Panthers.
Villa Maria 11, Sacred Heart 6
The Hurricanes were led by Erin Finley (two goals, three assists, seven draw controls, three groundballs) and Caroline Antell (four goals, three draws).
Unionville 9, Bishop Shanahan 7
Katie Garvey, Molly Wentz, and Veronica Hineman’s each scored twice for the Indians.
Kelsi O’Donnell led the Eagles with four goals.
