Philly Girls’ Events
Elite instructors Dana Dobbie, Jen Adams and Amy Altig are running three two-hour sessions focusing on draws, shooting and goalkeeping at Harriton High School on June 25th for $150/session. There is a 12-player max per session with spots still available.
Session 1: 1-3pm open to rising 8th through 10th grade
Session 2: 3:30-5:30pm open to rising 8th through 10th grade
Session 3: 6-8pm open to rising 5th through 7th grade
Other locations offered on different days and times include Loyola University (MD) on June 24 and Eastern High in Voorhees, N.J. on June 26.

LOLax Philadelphia is offering registration for its girls’ youth clinics series called Game Changing Clinics – Prepare-2-Play. The sessions are for players in 3rd through 8th grades, and will be held at Plymouth Whitemarsh in the summer and Penn Charter in the fall. Each weekly session is designed for attendees to receive instruction, strategies and tactical knowledge on Mondays which will be emphasized in competitive game play on Wednesdays.

Girls Summer Slam, July 12-13, Returning for its 3rd year, the Girls Summer Slam has more than doubled in size for 2014! Only three spots remain (1 – 2017, 2 – 2018/19) at this year’s tournament. Over 110 club teams from across the country will descend upon Seneca High School in Tabernacle, NJ to test their skills across 12+ beautifully maintained fields. The Girls Summer Slam was one the only tournaments not to cancel games last year due to rain! Teams are guaranteed five games across seven divisions with an opportunity for playoffs. The competition will be strong this July and provide great exposure for your girls. Cost of registration: $1,200 per team with multi-team discounts available. Summer Skills Camps
Rippin’ Rope Lacrosse Camps is offering nine camps for boys and girls aged 7 and up this summer, mostly in Delaware and in South Jersey. Rippin’ Rope Lacrosse Camps are the premier lacrosse education day camp in the Delaware Valley. Designed for boys and girls ages 7 and up, as old as those entering senior year in HS, looking for improvement with all lacrosse skills, concepts, and strategy at each position on the field. We welcome all skill levels at our camps and, when appropriate, will separate campers by age, ability, and/or preferred position.

Germantown Friends Lacrosse Camp, for girls in grades 1 through 9 on June 23-27 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. This is a great opportunity to improve your game and have fun at the same time. This camp is open to girls of every skill level who want to learn more about lacrosse. The camp will be led by coaches and players of the 2014 Friends League Lacrosse Champions. GameBreaker Lacrosse camps for boys and girls ages 6-17 in the Mainline Philadelphia area this summer. Directed by Shipley School Head Coach Mark Duncan, the summer season will kick off with a day camp at The Shipley School’s Farm Fields in Gladwyne, running June 30-July 3. The camp is open to both boys and girls of all ability levels, and groups will be made based on both age and ability.The Shipley camp will also offer a half day option for campers ages 6-9. The 380 Lacrosse Summer Camps at The Exeter Field House. The coaches will offer separate sessions for 3/4 grade, 5/6 grade and 7/8 grade girls in the air conditioned turf facility. Long Island Elite Camp for Girls, July 22-24, Dowling College’s Brookhaven Campus. The camp is for girls aged 10 to 18, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. LI Elite Camp, by Laxology and the NYLaxAcademy, brings together top college and high school coaches to teach you the most advanced and latest techniques, strategies and skills in girls’ lacrosse. The camp caters its coaching to all levels of player, from beginners to high school players. For elite high school players wanting to prepare for collegiate competition, LI Elite Camp offers special instruction from an array of college coaches and a special presentation with an open forum on the college recruiting process.
