Coach’s Outlook: “We are excited to have a lot of experience in goal with Dana Schulman as a 3 year starting goalkeeper, as well as some seasoned players in every area of the field. This team is very unselfish, so I expect to see balanced scoring and disciplined defense as our chemistry grows throughout the season.”

Shipley School

Head Coach: Katelyn M. Taylor

Last year’s record: 5-12 Overall Record, 5-3 FSL Record, FSL Semi-Finalsists

Coach’s Outlook: “The girls’ lacrosse team is looking forward to another exciting season. The girls lost three seniors to graduation from the 2012 season. They will look toward their upperclassmen, captains senior Chase Stewart and juniors Alli Kothari, Rachel Shapiro and Madison Tucker as well as senior Hayley Silva and juniors Rachel Norris and Anna Scutt for leadership and experience.

Anchoring the defensive end is Michigan recruit Alli Kothari, who is returning in net after a record breaking 2013 season with 20 saves in a game and 233 saves in a season (both school records). With a large group of talented underclassmen the team will be very competitive in the Friends Schools League looking to go one step further this year, to the Championship game.

The team will open their season with a game vs. Baldwin School on Wednesday, March 19 before traveling to Orlando, FL for spring training.”
