Cape Henlopen High School


Head Coach: PJ Kesmodel, 7th year as Head Coach

Last year’s record: 17-1, 2013- won our 5th consecutive Delaware State Championship

Top returning players: First Team All-State Players (Allie Yeager at attack and Taylor Gooch at defense)
and 2nd Team All-Staters (Maggie Delp at defense, Karalyn Joseph and Kat Judge at midfield), plus returning starting goalie Sam Broadhurst. In all 14 of our top 16 return from last year’s team.

Coach’s Outlook: “Prospects look good for another strong run at the State Championship.”

Archmere Academy

Head Coach: Caitlin Kelley, 2nd year at Archmere

Last year’s record: 13-4 lost in State Semi-final to Tower. Ranked 3rd in state by Laxpower

Returning senior starters:
Katelyn Payne, St. Joe’s, midfield
Amanda Olsen, Catholic – bb/lax – midfield
Caroline Rath – Ohio Univ (FH) – defense
Stephanie Copeland – defense

Coach’s Outlook: “We have 6 Freshman and 4 Sophomores on the team, brand new goalie. We are a building team, very young and athletic, it will take us a some games to get up to speed and see how we come together but I’m very happy with the caliber of athlete.”
