Inclement weather forced postponement of today’s Phillie Elite (LB3) tryouts for the Classes of 2018 and 2020s. The full schedule of tryouts is below.

2020 Tryout session 1:
Sunday, Sept. 7 at Plymouth-Whitemarsh HS Stadium 1:00/2:30PM. Check-in & walk up registration 12:30PMPhillie Elite

2018 tryout 1: Sunday at PWHS Stadium 2:30/4:00PM. Check-in & walk up registration 2:00PM

2017 tryout 1:
Sunday at PWHS Stadium 4:00/5:30PM. Check-in & walk up registration 3:30PM

2022 tryouts: Sunday and 9/14 (PWHS Stadium): Check-in 2:00pm; Tryout 2:30/4:00pm

• 2019 tryout 2: 9/13 (Germantown Academy Stadium): Check-in 2:00pm; Tryout 2:30/4:00pm

• 2020 tryout 2:
9/13 (GA Stadium): Check-in 3:30pm; Tryout 4:00/5:30pm

• 2021 tryout 2: 9/13 (GA Stadium): Check-in 12:30pm; Tryout 1:00/2:30pm

• 2022 tryout 2: 9/14 (PWHS Stadium): Check-in 2:00pm; Tryout 2:30/4:00pm

• 2023/24 tryouts: Sunday (9/7) and 9/14 (PWHS Stadium): Check-in 12:30pm; Tryout 1:00/2:30pm

Phillie Elite Youth teams will carry 21-23 players & play 2 tournaments in fall 2014, 3-4 tournaments in summer 2015. Teams will practice 4x in fall 2014 & 12+ in summer 2015

All players must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their session.

Tryout Registration:

• 2016 – Tryouts by invitation only. If you wish to be considered for this team (several roster spots are available), please email Coach Beury with Name, Position, School/Club and stat’s/achievements:

Phillie Elite HS teams will carry 24-26 players. All teams will practice a minimum of 4x in fall 2014. HS teams will participate in at least two tournaments this fall in the following recruiting events: Quaker Laxfest, Philly Showcase Invitational, Crab’s Member-Guest, Philly Showcase Invitational and Fever Fall Brawl, Towson.

Phillie Elite Lacrosse is a proud member of NSCLA, the National Scholastic Club Lacrosse Association, is the premier association of teaching/recruiting lacrosse clubs in North America. Comprised of 20 clubs, members include: Phillie Elite, Baltimore Crabs, Team 91, Edge Elite, Fighting Clams, CNY Roadhawks, Leading Edge, Roughriders and Madlax (among others). NSCLA sponsors 2-3 events annually in a “members-only format” that are among the best attended events – typically attracting 100+ college coaches.

About Phillie Elite Lacrosse

Phillie Elite Lacrosse is a club lacrosse program located in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia. The organization is Co-Directed by JP Banks, Upper Dublin HS Head Coach & former player at Johns Hopkins University and Jim Beury, Upper Dublin HS Assistant and former head coach at Archbishop Wood HS. The program originated in 2005 (as LB3 Lacrosse) with a core philosophy to promote a life-long love for lacrosse in all who participate. In nine years of existence, over 130 players have graduated from LB3/Phillie Elite to continue onto the ranks of NCAA Division I, II and III teams.

LB3 Lacrosse is a national network of lacrosse education, training and recruiting teams. Based in Atlanta, GA, LB3 is led by Liam Banks, 2x All-American from Syracuse University where he was MVP of the 2000 National Championship game.
