Jack Myers

High School: Wissahickon High School

Graduation Year: 2015

College Choice: Albright College

Club Affiliation: Phillie Elite (LB3)

Lacrosse Honors: 2-time All-star Legacy(Boston), 2014 Blue Chip 225 Elite All-Star and top 10 performer, 2014 Philly Summer Invitational All-Star, Second team All-League

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose Albright? “I chose Albright because they have a good business program and a small professor to student ratio which I believe I will thrive from. I feel like it will prepare me for the world after college while playing with a great group of guys that I really connected with on my overnight.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “Our High school team is looking good with a lot of younger players stepping up for the big graduating class we had last year of 16. We are looking to make it to the playoffs and make a run.”

Other comments: “I would first like to thank my Mom and Dad for allowing me to play lacrosse and devoting their time to helping me get to where I am now.

“I would also like to thank my club coaches J.P Banks, Kevin Banks, and Old man Banks for helping me advance as a lacrosse player and teaching me life lessons along the way.

“I would also like to thank Jim Beury for making me realize that I need to find which school is right for me and what is going to prepare me for the future.

“I would like to thank my school coaches Matt Conway and Dan Layfield for giving me advice on how to decide on what school is right for me.

“Lastly I would like to thank Andrew Degroat for introducing me to lacrosse in 8th grade.”

Other schools considered: Washington College, Franklin & Marshall, Lynchburg, Queens University of Charlotte, Cabrini, York, Susquehanna, Elizabethtown
