St. Joseph’s Prep 2015 midfielder Stephen Bradley has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Scranton.
Stephen Bradley log:
High School: Saint Joseph’s Preparatory
Graduation Year: 2015
College Choice: University of Scranton
Club Affiliation: Duke’s Lacrosse Club, Main Line Lacrosse Club
Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: Trilogy Academic Aces All-Star, Nike Jake Reed Fall 2013
What will you major in/study? Chemistry/Business
Why did you choose school? “Scranton is a very good school with competitive athletics and a strong reputation for the Jesuit approach to academics. After meeting coach Sage and touring campus I felts Scranton was the right school for me, and couldn’t see myself going anywhere else. Another major factor in my decision process was the Army ROTC program at Scranton. My plan is to play lacrosse and participate in the Army ROTC program as well. I am very excited in the direction the program is going and look forward to contributing soon.”
Outlook for your High School team? “As always our goal each year is to win the PCL and get a bid into the state playoffs. Even after graduating such a strong senior class, there were many younger players who had key roles this season and I am confident they will perform at a high level this coming year. We have a very young and talented group coming back this year and expectations for this season are very high.”
Other Comments: “I would like to thank my brother and sister, but most importantly my parents for their endless support throughout my lacrosse career so far, and their willingness to sacrifice their time to watch me play. I would also like to thank Coach Gregg, he has been not only a coach to me since I was in fifth grade, but has become very close with me over the past couple of years outside of lacrosse; he will be greatly missed next year. I would also like to thank Coach German and Coach Simon from Maine Line Lacrosse for their help with the recruitment process and helping me further develop my game as a whole. Lastly I would like to thank Coach Ebe, Coach Christmas and Coach Bohner, for all the help I received this year, and for such a great summer.”
