Carson Metzker

High School: Germantown Academy

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Midfielder/Face-Off

College Choice: New Jersey Institute of Technology

Club Affiliation: Phillie Elite

Lacrosse Honors: Elite 100, Legacy Invitational All-Star Team, Three Year Varsity Letter

What will you major in/study? Mechanical Engineering

Why did you choose NJIT? “I chose NJIT, because first, they have a great Engineering program. Second, I loved the campus and area that the school is in. Third, I’m excited to be part of a new program where I can make an impact from the very beginning.”

Outlook for 2015 HS team? “Offensively, we have leaders in attackman Garret Trucksess, and middies James Diver, Jimmy McAffee, Grant Lasorda and Matt Ho. On defense we have a strong core including Sam Lehrman and Anthony Bozzeli with Ian Davies in goal. I see no reason why we won’t be a serious contender in the Inter-Ac.”

Thank You: “I’d like to thank my mom, and all the people who supported me. Coach Grady, my high school coach, and the rest of the staff. I would like to thank Jim Beury for his guidance throughout the process.”
