What will you major in/study? Economics/Political Science

Why did you choose Haverford? “I chose Haverford College for its world class academics, solid alumni group, and competitive lacrosse. Haverford’s ability to provide a small school feel while geographically located in a college student hotbed really appealed to me. Also, Coach (Colin) Bathory’s enthusiastic and honest approach to coaching and recruiting was a large contributor to my decision.”

Outlook for your High School team next season? “We’re graduating a few influential seniors but I believe we are on an uphill rise. Last year we posted an 11-9 record and I can only see that getting better. We have a good number of players returning even stronger than last year. We’re losing a really good D-Pole in the senior class but Ian Davies and Anthony Bozzelli should easily fill up that leader spot around the goal. In the mid-field we’re bringing back Grant Lasorda, James Diver, and Jimmy McAfee, all who play extremely important roles in our offense and defense. I look forward to making it to the semi-finals and hopefully the finals at Cabrini next spring.”

Other Comments: “I’d like to thank Jim Buery for his guidance and help through my recruiting process. I really appreciate the genuine effort he put towards making sure I went to a college that fit me. I owe a huge thanks to my GA Coaches, Coach Grady, Coach Rufo, and Coach Isdaner for guiding me through my school season and pushing me to be a better player.

“I’d like to thank my club coaches, Coach Vetter and Coach Henze, for spending blistering summer days outside at team tournaments.

“Last, I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help and support from my family. My parents have sacrificed so much in order to give me the ability to showcase my lacrosse abilities.”
