Tesoro High School (CA) senior midfielder Brandon Mayo has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Eastern University.
Brandon Mayo log
High School: Tesoro High School, Las Flores, California
Graduation Year: 2014
Position: Midfield
College Choice: Eastern University
Club Affiliations: FCA, Trilogy West, Rip City, the OC Kings, the Golden Eagles, and Team Quiksilver.
Major lacrosse honors: Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip, Adrenaline Showdown, Adrenaline Challenge, Denver Team Camp, and the Warrior Diamond Showcase (“where I was originally scouted by Eastern”).
What will you major in/study? Psychology, with a minor in Economics.
Why did you choose Eastern? “I chose Eastern University for the wonderful, small private Christian college that it is. Eastern embraces a family atmosphere, with both its lacrosse team and community as a whole. It was something I was really looking for in my hunt for my collegiate institution. I was also really hooked by the small class sizes, atmosphere, and future teammates that I met while I visited.”
Outlook for your High School team? “Though we will lose a few key seniors, Tesoro lacrosse’s graduating class of 2015 has a unique chemistry, and many bright star players that will light the way.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank both the FCA and Trilogy staffs, Cach Glen Miles, Coach Brad Reppert, my High School coaches, and all of the people that I have encountered in my life up to this point.”
