Why did you choose JMU? “Since the first time I visited the campus, I was drawn to the enthusiasm of the team and the coaching staff. As I learned more about JMU, I was happy to discover the great balance between the academics and athletics.

“JMU has everything I was looking for and it really felt right for me from the beginning.”

Outlook for your High School team next season? “We have a solid group of returning starters, but we are still a young and developing team. We will get contributions from many members of the team. Though we play in a very competitive conference, I am confident we will be successful this year.”

Thank You: “I want to thank my club coaches Anna McNevin, Kelli Joran and Nicole Barretta for all the support in this process. Also, my High School coach, Marie Pepper, for having faith in me and helping me grow as a player.

“A special thanks to my teammates for being such great friends and an amazing support system. A big thanks to my Mom for always supporting me and being my rock.
