Oakland Catholic 2016 midfielder Bella Alampi has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lafayette College.

College Choice: Lafayette College

Club Affiliation: Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club

Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: Western PA National Team (WDNT), Western PA All-Section, 2nd leading scorer in Western PA (97 goals), Butler Eagle Most Prolific Scorer (all sports), Mars Lacrosse Team Captain, Michigan Camp – Award winner, North Carolina Elite Camp – All-Star Award.

What will you major in/study? Pre-med

Why did you choose school? “I chose Lafayette because Coach (Allison) Fisher is an amazing coach. In addition, the academic programs are phenomenal and the lacrosse team and league are very competitive. Lastly, the campus is extremely impressive and I immediately felt like I belonged there.”

Outlook for your High School team? “We have lost a majority of players and will have only one senior, but we are striving to make the playoffs.”
