What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Drexel? “I chose Drexel because of the amazing coaches and the outstanding academic opportunities. Coach (Hannah) Rudloff, Coach (Mary) Moran, and Coach (Lindsey) Kovar have fantastic lacrosse backgrounds and knowledge of the game. They also create a positive atmosphere on the field, which is important to the development of the team.

“In addition, the many academic programs offered at Drexel are exceptional and the co-op program will provide me with quality work experience prior to graduation.

“Lastly, Drexel’s environment is welcoming and secure, and I felt that it was the right place for me as soon as I stepped on campus.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “I believe that we have a very strong chance at becoming State Champions this year. Last season, our potential was underestimated by many people and we proved them wrong by turning our “rebuilding” year into a success. We made it to the first round of States as a team of many new faces, and I believe we have an unequivocal chance of achieving the state title this year.”

Thank You: “First, I would like to thank my family. Mom and Dad, thank you for supporting me through this entire process. Thank you for taking me to endless amounts of tournaments, colleges, and camps, and for always having my back. To my siblings, thank you for being supportive and encouraging fans of my game.

“Second, I would like to thank my Ultimate coaches Jenny Duckenfield and Michele DeJuliis. Coach Duck, I have learned so much from you and you have done so much for my development. Thank you for contacting coaches and teaching me the important parts of becoming a better lacrosse player and overall individual. DJ, thank you for taking the time to answer my questions, contact college coaches, and for any negotiations you have done on my part. You are the ultimate role model and I will always look up to you.

“A huge thank you to my Conestoga coaches Amy Orcutt, Jaclyn Klunder, Sam Murphy, and Meaghan McDugall. Your support and belief in me has pushed me to become the player I am today. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of the game and for being excellent coaches and role models.

“Last but not least, I would like to thank my teammates for pushing me to play at the highest possible potential and for creating a positive team environment both on and off the field.”

Other schools considered: Lehigh, American, Louisville, James Madison, George Washington, UC Davis, Elon, Manhattan
