Joka (Plymouth Whitemarsh) earns MAAC Offensive Player of Week for 7-goal performance

Junior Colin Joka (Plymouth Whitemarsh) has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. This is Joka’s first career MAAC player of the week honor.Colin Joka

Joka scored a career-high seven goals for the Red Foxes in their 13-12 victory over Stony Brook. With his seven goals, Joka is tied for third in program history for most goals scored in a single game. Joka attempted 12 shots with eight on goal. He also picked up one ground ball and caused one turnover.

The Red Foxes return to action on Saturday, Feb. 22 against Denver as a part of the Frontier Airlines Face-Off Classic. Face-off is set for 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Marist will face Air Force on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m.
