Girls’ lacrosse: Hatboro-Horsham closes third straight undefeated Suburban One championship season

Rachel Rausa collected five goals and an assist and Katie McKay added three goals and an assist while Colby Eldridge scored three goals as host Hatboro-Horsham defeated Springfield-Montco, 19-6, Wednesday to close out a third straight perfect Suburban One championship season.

The Hatters (14-4) finished 9-0 in the American Conference in the first year the league has been split into only two conferences. Hatboro-Horsham had finished undefeated champions the past two years in the former Continental Conference and has won 36 straight games within its own conference.

Carley Daley added two goals and two assists and Sydney Rausa had two goals for the Hatters, who have won 11 straight games. Annette DeSipio and Casey Swezey each added a goal and an assist for Hatboro-Horsdham while maria Guerra scored once.

Riley Greenleaf led the Spartans with four goals.
