What is your son getting from the Sessions?
The curriculum for our Pre-Season Positional Training Program is designed to keep the player moving and engaged in what they’re learning. Each session the player will be taught new drills that subconsciously develops their lacrosse IQ and understanding of the game.
Players will also be subjected to a rigorous footwork and agility segment designed to work around the skill sets needed as a lacrosse player with an emphasis on developing their “fast-twitch muscle fibers” which we call the “VIKING PROGRAM.”
Players will be exposed to visual demonstrations both by coaches and through discussion with a whiteboard to build their understanding of lacrosse and the drills they will be subjected to.
The curriculum also uses differentiated instruction meaning we have developed drills to meet the needs of ALL PLAYERS through position specific drills that are tailored to work with a specific skill level and positional group within our training program curriculum.
Areas of Focus:
Viking Program agility and athletic skill development
Position Specific Training drills for offense and defense
