Maplezone Sports Institute and Baggataway Lacrosse Club have made another power move in the lacrosse community with a merger. This affiliation extends its premiere lacrosse experience to enhance the growth of the Philadelphia lacrosse community. Maplezone Sports Institute offers a state-of- the- art training facility, with both indoor and outdoor faculties, making it one of the premier destination training and exposure facilities on the east coast.
The founders of Baggataway Lacrosse Club, Joe Karpinski and Brian Dougherty, have been a staple in the lacrosse community for the last decade. With Joe and Brian at the helm, Baggataway’s program has produced some of the finest lacrosse players and instructors in the Philadelphia region. Baggataway Lacrosse Club prides itself in preparing players for the next level, both academically and athletically.
“We feel that this will deliver athletes, great training in a state of the art facility something no other program has to offers,” said Karpinski, General Manager of Baggataway.
Maplezone is a primer, full-service training institution. Its professional instructors dedicate themselves 365 days a year to promoting individual and group training, camps, clinics, conditioning, lacrosse skill development, and exposure of the athletes’ skills in live game play. Not only does Maplezone offer a next level facility and lacrosse experience for its athletes, but it also helps them develop as young adults. Maplezone trains the athlete and develops him to achieve an elite status.
“With the merger of Baggataway LC and Maplezone Elite, the sky is the limit for what our players can reach,” said Cory Malampy, Lacrosse Academy Director, Maplezone Sports Institute. “Together, we plan to radically challenge the thought process in the lacrosse community on what skills are demonstrated by lacrosse players at the highest echelon.
“Baggataway and Maplezone will continue to place lacrosse players to the next level. Further, we will strive to establish a new standard of excellence, by developing players to reach their fullest potential.”
