Attackman Kevin Forster, a two-time US Lacrosse All-American and First Team All-Phillylacrosse.com pic,, has transferred from Maryland to St. Joseph’s University.
Forster scored seven goals and added three assists in 26 career games in three years at Maryland. He missed the entire 2013 season with a knee injury and could recoup a year eligibility.
Forster was a starter on La Salle’s 2008 team that won the final Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association title and the first PIAA crown in 2009. He also helped the Explorers reach the PIAA finals in 2010.
In 2014, Forster was a starter at the outset of the season for the Terps and played in nine games overall, scoring four goals and adding two assists.
At St. Joe’s he will join a team that finished 11-4 (school-record for wins) and won the regular-season title in the Northeast Conference.
