Team ManUp is based out of West Chester and is a practice-based organization that offers low number rosters, a great turf and grass facility that is utilized for practices and exhibition games, positive coaching methods and a healthy, safe environment. Team ManUp is not at all about winning; it is about building the best player and preparing them for high school lacrosse and college recruiting opportunities. Team ManUp summer events typically end in late June. This gives the players time to be with their families for the summer, lets their minds and bodies heal before fall sports start, and lets them enjoy some time off. Team ManUp is also a mission-based team that provides help for lacrosse coaches and families in need of help. Its view is that we give someone in a fight a “ManUp” in their situation. See website (www.manuplacrosse.org) that lists some of the circumstances and people that we have helped with along with our committed players list. One of the 2014 grads and new coaches is Greg Merrill, who was a two-time winner of the prestigious Pansini & Mezrow Scholar-Athlete First Place Winner.
