The National Showcase, an elite boys’ recruiting event for players in the Class of 2016, 2017 and 2018, has opened its registration. The showcase, run by Victory Event Series and recent National Coach of the Year John Nostrant (Haverford School), will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Avon Grove High School in West Grove. This one-day event will give the Top Freshman, Sophomore, and Juniors players in the country an opportunity to demonstrate their talents in front of premier college lacrosse programs while learning new techniques/skills that they can apply to their game. The National Showcase is centered around these unique main components:

Recruiting Q&A with Colleges
This is an open registration event that will feature some of the best High School boys lacrosse players in the country. Coaches are welcome to refer players here who they feel would benefit from this elite experience.

NXTsports’ Cradle Lacrosse (fun co-ed beginner training for boys and girls aged 4 to 8) is proud to announce its locations this fall. Tower Hill School (Del.), St. Augustine Prep (N.J.) and Upper St. Clair High School (Pa.) have been added as new locations, while Cradle will continue to feature its in-state programming at United Sports, Radnor Memorial Park, Germantown Academy and Middletown Community Park (Bucks County).

The Strath Haven Fall Lax Fest will be held on Saturday, November 15 at the Strath Haven High School and Middle School in Wallingford. The rain date is Sunday, November 16. The format will be similar to years past:
– Festival format, no playoffs of championships
– 3 games guaranteed
– Games are 2 x 25 minute running halves
– Start at 9 am and finish at 4 pm
– 18 player minimum roster
– 2 levels of play: Varsity and JV
– PIAA Referees
– Trainer on site
– Team registration fee: paid in full before October 1st – $600; after October 1st – $650

Fusion Overnight Camps at Cape Henlopen, Delaware Second session- August 18th-21st. *Ages 4th-11th grade. Rippin’ Rope Lacrosse Camps is offering nine camps for boys and girls aged 7 and up this summer, mostly in Delaware and in South Jersey. Rippin’ Rope Lacrosse Camps are the premier lacrosse education day camp in the Delaware Valley. Designed for boys and girls ages 7 and up, as old as those entering senior year in HS, looking for improvement with all lacrosse skills, concepts, and strategy at each position on the field. We welcome all skill levels at our camps and, when appropriate, will separate campers by age, ability, and/or preferred position.

American Indoor Lacrosse Association Integrated Academies for Summer of 2014. the camps feature AILA’s In|Crosse System, developed by AILA President and Philadelphia Wing’s GM Johnny Mouradian. In|Crosse education and training, AILA’s proprietary system leverages the integration and convergence of the indoor version of lacrosse with the field game. The cutting edge program teaches bio-mechanics, principles, strategies and tactics of indoor lacrosse taking advantage of the several features like small goals (4’x 4’9), 30 second shot clock, five on five lacrosse, players learn to play offense and defense, to name a few skills. The academies are for players from 3rd grade through players heading into college.

Black Bear Lacrosse 2014 summer camps. Black Bear Lacrosse has been providing expert instruction and training at camps and clinics for over a decade. Black Bear Camp directors are all current or former high school head coaches with a passion for teaching the game. In addition to its fundamentals program, which is designed to introduce the game to beginning and intermediate players, Black Bear provides advanced technique and training for experienced players, in a fast paced, fun environment.
