Maple Zone Sports Institute registration for fall tryouts for all ages of boys’ travel lacrosse teams, Aug. 17 and 24 at Maple Zone Fieldhouse in Garnet Valley. Click here for registration. MSI training platform offers each player the opportunity to develop with their team and also as an individual athlete. Whether you’re a goalie, an offensive or defensive player, our experienced coaching staff will provide training geared to your overall athletic development: Weekly team practices starting in September through November; MSI teams will attend (2) fall tournaments; Position specific skills training (offense, defense, goalie); Sports performance speed/strength training; Fitness center access; Team uniforms; College exposure, assistance and guidance of the recruiting process; Players will also receive discounted rates on additional training opportunities including, camps, clinics, sports performance and semi-private lessons.
MSI is quickly becoming the lead training facility for youth, high school, college, and professional athletes from PA, NJ, and DE. Our indoor complex allows MSI to offer year round training components and league play. Our soon to be completed outdoor turf complex: “MSI Sports Village” will encompass (7) multi-purpose fields- all turfed with lights conveniently located just off I95 on Chichester Avenue. Be a part of the action, come train with MSI staff, we have the experience and expertise to develop you as an athlete and help you reach your goals.

Black Bear travel teams, based out of Phoenixville and West Chester offer quality coaching and training to high school and youth lacrosse players. Our mission at Black Bear Lacrosse is to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse and prepare players to play at the next level. At Black Bear our coaches are dedicated to providing the best quality instruction to improve your lacrosse skills. Our coaching staff includes the high school head coaches from Bishop Shanahan, Upper Merion, Perkiomen Valley, Phoenixville, Methacton, Kennett, Unionville as well as college assistant coaches and youth lacrosse head coaches. Our travel teams are broken down into two divisions to provide quality instruction in close proximity to our members. Black Bear North travel teams include members from Montgomery and Berks County (including Conestoga SD, Owen J. Roberts SD and Phoenixville SD) and practice at Phoenixville High School.Black Bear South teams include members from Chester and Delaware County and practice at West Chester University. Our high school teams will practice at both West Chester University and Phoenixville High School. Tryouts are divided into two blocks by graduation year:
Athletes graduating 2019 – 2023 (4th-8th grade) will try out from 4:00-5:30pm. Athletes graduating 2016 – 2018 (9th-11th grade) will try out from 5:30 – 8:00pm.

The NXT Bandits will host tryouts to fill their youth teams that vary from third to eighth grade, in addition to a ninth and 10th grade team, Sundays Sept. 7 and 14 at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. The NXT Bandits follow a year-round model that features both field and box lacrosse training. The teams will have three box lacrosse practices and will take part in NXT’s Holiday Indoor Tournament and the Philadelphia Indoor Lacrosse Championship, in addition to four winter skills sessions at SCH. From a field lacrosse aspect, the NXT Bandits will have four fall practices and be a part of the fall NXT Play Day. The teams will participate in 10 summer practices, including a NXT Play Day, and will also compete in three or four events in the summer. The NXT Bandits will also have faceoff and goalie specialist coaches available to them year-round.

Team 302 tryouts for 2015 summer travel teams, at the Independence School in Newark, DE. It is highly recommended that players come to both dates, but not required. Current 2015 team members must register for the fall team and then will be selected for fall ball by coaching staff. All Current 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 team members must tryout for Fall 2014 and Summer 2015. All spots are open each year on every age level team.

NXT Lacrosse Club tryouts for its NXT 2018 team, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13 and 14, at Episcopal Academy. In addition, NXT LC will also host its NXT Youth tryouts Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20 and 21, at Episcopal Academy. NXT Youth will field one team in every grade from three through eight. All teams are completely open heading into tryouts. No player that previously played for NXT is assured a spot, ensuring that only the best of the best players will be selected. NXT teams practice at Episcopal Academy’s picturesque campus, a scenic facility that offers more than enough room for every team to practice at the same time. EA boasts two turf fields and a top-of-the-line indoor facility that enables NXT to practice rain or shine. We believe having access to the best facilities enable us to seize every opportunity to make players better and rarely have to cancel practices due to weather. NXT’s box lacrosse league and Holiday Indoor Tournament are held at United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, a 127,000-square foot gem of an indoor facility. NXT prides itself on its elite coaching staff. Every coach has extensive coaching and playing experience, including the highest collegiate level as well as the professional ranks. Every player in the program is offered the chance to meet with their coaches at the end of every season for player development feedback that clearly identifies and outlines every player’s strength and weaknesses. Faceoff and goalie specialists are also available year-round to work with players to make sure that they get just as much coaching and attention as everyone else. Players interested in trying out must pre-register here. There is a $30 tryout fee for the NXT 2018 team. Every player who tries out for NXT 2018, NXT Youth and NXT Bandits will get a reversible jersey to keep. PA Roughriders tryouts for all teams (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2017) will take place Sunday, September 14th and 21st at Lambert Field in West Goshen, Chester County. Players will be put through a variety of drills and game situations to test their lacrosse IQ, stickwork, and athletic ability. A handful of evaluators and coaches will be onsite selecting the team.
