The event brings teams from New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. High school “A” and “B” and U15s will play on Saturday. U9-U13s will play on Sunday. Each team plays four games in a championship style tournament.
F4 tournament co-director Glenn Carter said the tourney was created with the idea of creating a quality and well-run tournament with all fields in close proximity. He said that each field will be fully staffed and that the venue is ideal for a large group of teams at one time.
“Having been involved in coaching club and college lacrosse, we wanted to make this a tournament that brings customer service to the forefront,” Carter said. “All the fields are within three minutes of walking distance and we feel we’ll bring a great product to the field.
“We know how hard the club coaches work and we wanted to make the day as easy as possible for all involved while making it a great tournament for the kids to play in. Everything is taken care of from concessions to balls to bathrooms.”
