Plymouth Whitemarsh High School junior midfielder Kirsten Monte has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Wagner College.

What will you major in/study? Elementary Education
Why did you choose Wagner? “After meeting the coaches and players, and learning about the academic opportunities at Wagner, I know it is the perfect fit. I am excited to further my lacrosse career at the Division I level.”
Outlook for your High School team? “Over the past 2 years we’ve been rebuilding but these next two seasons we should be strong Conference contenders.”
Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my Mom, Dad and brother for always supporting me from youth through High School lacrosse. I’d also like to thank all my coaches throughout the years – Ms. Scioli, Coach Reilly and my Ultimate coaches Abby, Chelsea and Lindsay.
“I wouldn’t be the player I am today without my teammates who are constantly pushing me to be a better player.
“Lastly I’d like to thank my sister Roxanne, who was the reason I picked up a stick in the first place. She is my number one supporter, my coach and my role model.”
