Boys’ lacrosse: Springfield-Delco clips Conestoga, 10-4

Host Springfield-Delco shook off an early 2-0 deficit and dominated the rest of the way en route to a 10-4 victory tonight over Conestoga in a Central league boys’ lacrosse game.

Freshman James Spence made 11 saves for the Cougars (4-0, 3-0), ranked No. 8 by Phillylacrosse.com. Luke Charamella led a balanced attack with three goals and an assist while brian Todaro had two goals and two assists. Lucas Spence added two goals and a goal and Dan Dickinson had two goals.

Springfield-Delco outscored the Pioneers, 7-1, to close the game.

Fifth-ranked Conestoga (2-2, 1-1) got goals by Alex Mezey, Christian Jobs, Steve Hildebrand and Jake Scott.
