What will you major in/study? B.F.A in Studio Art or Sports Management

Why did you choose Lock Haven? “I chose Lock Haven because it was the perfect fit for me academically and it has a fantastic lacrosse program. The coaches and team made me feel very welcome and at home. Lock Haven is close to home and has a very positive ambiance about it, the campus is small and close together which is a plus for me. It also has great Sports Management and Fine Arts programs and I look forward to playing lacrosse with a great group of talented players.”

Outlook for your High School team? “We only lost a few seniors but gained a lot of freshman that could defiantly make a positive difference in our level of play. Our upperclassman are stepping it up and taking charge, they are very encouraging to the whole team and getting us pumped for the season.”

Additional Comments: “I never would have gotten the chance to play at a college level if it wasn’t for the one and only Brody Longstaff, he introduced me to my club team Xtreme and all the amazing people who helped me along the way.

“I’d also like to thank Mark Pinkerton for coaching me throughout these stressful years and always keeping me positive and encouraging me to be the best I can be. I’d also like to thank the outstanding and most amazing goalie I’ve ever met, Shannon Nee (UCONN) for encouraging me and giving me some very helpful goalie tips and tricks. She didn’t only help me become the player I am today; she motivated me to be an amazing goalie like her.

“I want to thank my Xtreme and Cocalico teams and Coach Mary Beth Cardin for pushing me to do my best and staying positive through the ups and downs of our seasons. To my Xtreme team I’d like to thank you for being the best team I could ever ask for and I love you all so much, I’m going to miss playing with you guys! To my Cocalico team, thanks so much for the awesome seasons together and for being there for me through thick and thin, and I look forward to playing two more years with you guys!

“Obviously, I’d like to thank my amazing parents for keeping my dream of playing college lacrosse alive even when I doubted myself. Without their encouragement I would not have had the drive to live my dream. Also, a thanks to my sister Kendall is in order, she had to deal with all those long car trips, lacrosse packed weekends, and practicing in the back yard for hours, I wish her the best in her lacrosse career and i’ll be there to push her like she pushed me!”
