Great Valley

Head Coach: Tony Verna (9 years)
Assistant coaches: Dave Waldman, Paul Wilson

Last year’s record: 18-6 (3rd round District Playoffs, 1st round PIAA Playoffs)

Key returning players: Greg Merrill, Max Kalick, Jon Fuydal, Jack Waite, Josh Hughes, Braxton Borine, Casey Carroll, Ethan Joseph, Joel Schuck

Key newcomers: Tim Ashman, Scott Wagner, Reiner Westby, Chris Hueston

Coach’s Outlook: “Potential to be good. Have some nice players and young talent that works extremely hard. Our goal is to get better everyday and to earn a playoff berth.”

Downingtown East

Head Coach: Todd Cliggett, 4th year

Last year’s record: Co-Chestmont Champs, 14-8

Key returning players:

Coach’s Outlook: “We have a lot of returning players ready to carry the load. A good group of kids who worked extremely hard in the off season. Looking to compete against a very difficult schedule.”

Bishop Shanahan

Head Coach: Jon Heisman, 25 yrs. 5th yr at Shanahan

Last year’s record: 13-4. Won Ches Mont League

Key returning players: John Mehok, Dylan Alderman, Eric Giannetti, Jon Weinstein, Tom Seifert, Alex Wagner

Kew newcomers: Sam Goforth, Jason Yoquinto, Sam Gindhart, Pat Corcoran, Jake Guinan

Coach’s Outlook: “We want to compete for a Ches-Mont Title and hopefully make a run in the State Playoffs.”
