Coach’s Outlook: “With only losing 3 players to graduation, we are returning our core group of players. We have some girls back from injury who are looking to make an immediate impact. The team has worked hard all off-season and if we can put two halves together, we should have a successful season.”

Head Coach: Laurie Markle, 8th season

2013 record: 7-6 PAC-10, 10-8 overall

Key returners (all seniors):

Attack – Ellie Schmidt, leading scorer with 48 goals, 25 assists; honorable mention all-league, heading to Florida Southern to play lacrosse

Midfield – Kelly Glatthorn, leading defender in the midfield last year, led team in interceptions and groundballs with 35

Defense/Attack – Kristen McCrane, anchored the defense in the beginning of the season but then helped out on attack

Coach’s Outlook: “We are still a young team with a lot of sophomores on the roster that did get experience as freshmen last year . We have a lot of speed and talent but the weather and lack of facilities have kept us indoors as we have only been on a field once so far this month. It will be a work in progress as we try to jell both offensively and defensively. I am excited about this group. They possess a very high Lax IQ and I think we will be competitive.”

Head Coach: Kathy Kelly, 3rd season

2013 record: 2-11 PAC-10, 3-13 overall

Key Returners:
Harley Barrett (first team Liberty Division All PAC-10 goalie)
Nathalie Sell (Defense)
Christie Balestra (Attack)

Coach’s Outlook: “PV lost 13 seniors to graduation last year so we are looking forward to this season to rebuild our squad with several young and promising players. Some key injuries in the off season have given an opportunity for younger athletes to step up to fill the void.”
