Manhasset (N.Y.) senior midfielder James Farrell has committed to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Pennsylvania.

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Penn because of the combination of academics and athletics. I wanted to go to a school where I could get a great education while playing for a top team in the country.”

HS team’s outlook for the season? “This season we really want to win the County Championship. We haven’t won in the last couple years and we really want to get one back.”
