College Choice: Washington College

What will you major in/study? Business Management
Why did you choose the school? “Right when I walked onto the campus during my first visit, I knew I could see myself going to school there. The great academics and outstanding lacrosse program were the two big draws for me. Coach (Jeff) Shirk made the recruiting process very easy for me and I was a big fan of all the assistant coaches as well. The players currently there were very personable and I could see myself fitting in with the culture they have at Washington College. The school is a perfect distance from home and the small class sizes will give me a better learning environment in my 4 years. Playing 3 more years with my brother Christopher is like the cherry on top.”
HS team’s outlook for 2014 season? “We return a lot of key players and have some young guys that will play big minutes for us. We look to win our conference and make a run into districts. Everyone is working hard to get to that next level and it looks like we will have a lot of talent in our sophomore and freshman classes.”
Other comments: “First off, I want to thank my parents for driving me around to tournaments and funding my lacrosse experience. Thank you to my brother, Christopher, for being a great role model and showing me right from wrong; My OJR coaches: Coach Neese, Coach Ben, and Coach Shields for helping me develop as a player and a person; My Freedom Coaches: Coach Marascio, Coach MIller, and Coach Farrell for guiding me in this recruitment process. Also, thanks to all of my youth coaches for teaching me the fundamentals of the game. A very special thank you to Coach Kevin Goforth, who has been there for me during my entire lacrosse career and has helped me become the player I am today.”
Other schools considered? Robert Morris, Dickinson, Salisbury, Lynchburg
